Because we value children and families we offer ministries that meet needs of the whole child - physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual. At the end of the day our goal is to work alongside you in the raising up of your child in the Lord’s ways and to see God’s Kingdom grow.

Weekly and Monthly Ministries
Nursery Care
Our nursery is being renovated to better meet the needs of you and your family! It will continue to be staffed by caring, trained and background-checked workers. It is available during both worship services (8:30am and 11:00am), during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45) and for some special events.
Sunday School
Christian education for children 4 years old through 5th Grade is offered on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45. Sunday school includes music, crafts, games, and Bible lessons.
All children are invited to be part of our “Change 4 Change” initiative which blesses the life of a young girl named Christine from Rwanda. By collecting change throughout the week and offering it during Sunday School the children are making a difference in Christine’s life and honoring God through giving!
Children’s Church
During our 11:00am worship service children in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades are invited to attend Children's Church. It is offered every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month which is Communion Sunday.
All children are invited to participate in the Children's Moment during the 11:00am worship service.
Sunday Evening Activities – Something for the whole family!
"3G" launched on September 18 and has been a HUGE success! It stands for Grub, Gab and Grow and starts with a church-wide dinner at 5:30 followed by age-specific activities/studies until 7:30. For each Sunday’s specific schedule, go to the Home Page!
Kids’ Night Out
Parents, do you need a night off from the kiddos? Drop them off at church for games, movies, and crafts and enjoy an evening to yourself!
Cost: $10 for one child; $15 for two children; $25 maximum per family (payment required at check-in.)
Dates: Every second Friday of the month (EXCEPT in January - KNO will be on January 20th)
Time: 6:30p - 10:30p

Registering Initially: Please pick up an “Initial Registration Form” located on the church Nursery bulletin board in the hallway, fill it out and bring it with you to check-in. Or you can DOWNLOAD the form below. This form does not need to be completed each time your child attends KNO. However, please read below regarding our monthly sign-up.
Monthly Sign-Up: Please notify Audrey Davis if your child will be attending a specific KNO. Sign-Up is required no later than the Wednesday prior to KNO.
FORM INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Click on blue hyperlink
2. Click "Open”
3. A new window will open and form will appear
4. Click on “Enable Editing”
5. Type in answers
6. Save completed form with “Save As”
7. Name it whatever you want
8. Email form to Audrey by attaching it to email (audrey@ctumc.org)
Special Events
Children’s/Family Caroling and Blanket Distribution
The children have been making blankets and Christmas cards to distribute at a local nursing home and will also be spreading the joy of Christmas by singing carols for the residents. We ask that at least one parent/guardian attend event with child.
Date: December 11 (Sunday)
Time: After 11am service a lunch will be provided for participants. Then we’ll leave for event.
Ages: Preschool through 5th Grade and at least 1 parent/guardian

Christmas Movie Night
Join us in watching the new Veggie Tales movie, "The Little Drummer Boy" followed by movie-themed activities! This event is part of our church-wide program called “3G”. For more info about “3G”, please see our home page.

Time: 6:30 - 7:30 (following church-wide dinner at 5:30)

Children’s/Family Christmas Eve Service
Join us for a very special service that you won’t soon forget! After the service we’ll celebrate together with a simple “Happy Birthday Jesus” Party!
Time: 7:00pm*
*NOTE: There are two other Christmas Eve Services scheduled, one at 9:00pm and one at 11:00pm. Childcare will be available during the 9:00pm service. CHRISTMAS DAY there will be ONE worship service at 10:00am and no Sunday School or evening activities.
